Hiking in the Desert




Here are some of my favorite photos I took while hiking in the desert in the last few days.

This rock formation looks like an ape's head.




I think this formation contains fossilized sea sponges.




Notice how this desert tulip is holding a drop of water.


This formation looks like tree roots, but actually it consists of thin rock layers and sand.



Check out the ibex at the top of the cliff.


A mud puddle in the bottom of Nahal Havarim Canyon.
